Xardu, lugar situado encima del lar, haciendo piso a nivel del desván, es en definitiva un cajón de tres metros cuadrados aproximadamente, los hay más grandes y también más pequeños depende en la teixá que se encuentren, de todas las maneras en todas las teixáes astures que tienen castañedos, también tienen, o mejor dicho tenían xardu, tengan presente ustedes que yo siempre me estoy refiriendo a los tiempus d'endenantes.
